Come to think of it, I had to cut about 1/2" off my Supersprint racing center section for my Stromung to fit ahead of the plastic panels. It wasn't the Stromung though since it fit the same as the stock muffler before I got the SS unit.

Try that. I know it's a pain to have to take the whole thing off again but that would definitely fix it. Wrap some tape around the pipes as a guide so you get a straight cut. Then use whatever you can...reciprocating saw, grinder w/ cutoff wheel, or a hacksaw. Finally, make sure to de-burr the edges so your muffler will go on. I even slightly chamfered mine to ease installation.

See how far out my tips comeout, and how low they come out of the valence?

When I installed it, I slid the exhaust as far as it would go up the SS center section but thats all I could do...

How could I correct this?
