got to agree with the man Roops on this, i had a scorpion back box on a supersprint center, and it was crap the back bok never fitted and was real noisy.

I now have a full supersprint sys and it fits spot on and sounds nice not in a harsh way though, you know. i dont get any nasty resonances while cruising.

If you can get a good stainless sys i'd go for it though cus they last forever. Repairing cracks round welds is easy you just have to take it to specialist welder/ sheet metal shop.

I know this cus i have a degree in materials engineering.

PS if you get a decent SS one, ie made and esigned by someone who can weld it shouldnt crack in the first place though!!

I need help in selecting a replacement exhaust. I need everything downstream of the exhaust manifold. I am looking for a center section with catalytic converters, but I don't absolutely need the cats. I am also looking for a replacement muffler as well. I would like to hear some suggestions on center section/muffler combination and pros & cons of each.

I am in S. Carolina now and don't require emission testing, but eventually I'll be in a state that does.

Also, is anyone using the Supersprint Stainless Steel Racing Pipes & Muffler?

I am possibly looking at Dimoff/Raven or Eisenmann Muffler.

Any input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks again.
