Ah Neil, but you went to the Castle Combe classic car event and went on track, that wasn`t so bad. The CCC events are organised by Cars and Car Conversions magazine. There were two events organised last year by them(in April and May if I remember correctly) and both were pretty horendous for bad driving and a full track. Watching cars three deep going round corners is quite scarey!
Apparently the rules are chaning this year, hopefully to allow less cars on track, compulsory wearing of helmets and a drivers briefing (i think)


It wasn't that bad :-) I went out twice last year and it was the best time I've had in my car for ages. you just have to watch out for the Nigel Mansel wanna bes :o)
