Like if both hoses(through the firewall)are warm and the heater is in the off position then it would be benefitial. We talked on the phone and I haven't checked those hoses. I guess he's talking about stopping flow to the heater core only, that would not cause the engine coolant to be any hotter would it? Maybe redundant. Thanks for the replies, haven't thought much about how the heat works I guess. He'd do it for the price of the cheap parts and I'd love to have cooler air if only slightly.
