using the same gas brand all the time exposes your fuel system to only 1 detergent formula. If you switch it up frequently, you'll be cleaning your fuel system with various detergents, some of which may clean better in some areas than others. Not sure if this is completely true, but it sorta makes sense, and I've heard it from a number of sources. You could always give it a try for a few tanks and see if it makes any difference....won't cost you anything but the gas you were going to burn anyway.
