118k runs very strong w/chip and sprocket, all new suspension, drilled rotors, new muffler, and motor/tranny mounts. Front seats rough, body straight (an 8), repaint fair (looks great). She's a driver, I paid 8k inc. new stereo. I've heard there's a $15k rule here but I think you can have a rippin "driver" for less if you get lucky. Of course if I replace those seats, re-spray her right, and fix the a/c ... I'll be well on my way to the 15.

Hey guys my daily driver is on its last leg (a beater car). I'm looking to get a bmw for driver usage. Thinking e30 325 or m3. I don't want one of the 'special' cars (10K plus). But it has to reliable for daily transport. Does the s14, and the m3 in general have the long legs mileage wise that the 325 does? Does a sub $10K m3 contradict that?

Is there a buyers guide out there on the web. Things to look for? I am not a novice mechanic, but I don't have any experience with the m3 particulars.
