There are loads of posts regarding timing chains, can someone answer this question.
Why do e30m3 need chains doing so quickly compared to other bmws with chain driven engines?
My first e34 with M50 engine had 168K miles when i sold it and i never once heard chain noise. My next e34 535 once again chain driven 122K miles and no noise
My current e34 118K miles and no noise

is this an s14 quirk?
