...pistons and cylinder walls. If the Turner 2.5 uses forged pistons, they require more clearance because forged aluminum has higher thermal expansion.

Ice Cold Engine
Blip the throttle
Clatter as engine reaches idle for ~1 sec. not before
Will not clatter @ idle either.
Can NOT be heard @ any RPM between 1K - 2.5K
Goes away after 1 min of running

Seems to be worse in warm weather. Last summer
This spring. Didn't hear it much over the winter.
Valve clearance good.

Make sense anyone?
