I know you are thinking of putting an s14 into a 320i. I am also thinking about doing an engine swap into my 320i. I'm looking at doing an engine swap. I'm looking at the e-36 M3 mill (maybe with a turbo?) though. FYI the data I just got off the e21 digest states the 1980 318i (e21) weighs 1030 Kg (=2270 lbs). This is a huge weight advantage to the e30 M3 more than making up for the extra 150 lbs the s14 engine weighs.

P.S. I didn't think it was very nice how you reamed Sean out on the e21 board. We are all BMW owners and should be friendly to each other.
