I think with any 8" wide rim (15,16,17,18 height no matter) you want to stay pretty close to an offset of 24mm + or - 2mm should be ok (even a 20 offset will work but 24 is the optimal). Not sure about tire sizes on an 18. Adamp might be able to give you a good tire size.
