ok Im jellous, I just saw a porche autox/rally (archive)

I saw about 130 AWSOME porches at my local highschool. I went by and they were autoxing and showing off there cars. There were so many awsome looking cars. Its apartent that there is a larger following behind porche then we have here with bmw. I went by in my m3 and not one person even looked in my general direction as to say thats only a bmw, weird! I talked to a guy who said that this is one of their bi-anual meetings amoung texas chapter of the porche club! Amazing! Id love to get somehting like this going on here in TX if people would think about actually coming all the way to one central city for the weekend? MAybe austin or dallas or san antonio. Any bmw ppl interested in a "large" gathering in TX let me know and i can see what I can do about getting one together!
