Ok, so i decided against the Mini and in my search for an e30 M3, I "found" one that my mechanic just got in. It's a red '88 with black interior. It has 125k miles and has recently had the valves replaced and it seems to have a pretty good history (havent looked at the papers yet, just going on what he said). The mods include: TMS chip, K&N filter, borla cat-back, h&R springs, Koni yellow shocks, K Mac camber plates, oil pan baffle, and 17" e36 10 spokes. I've driven the car and it seems really strong and tight. He is asking 15k, which I think is really steep. It may be good to buy from a shop and get a warranty and stuff, but I dunno. If anyone wants to run a carfax for me the VIN is: WBSAK0302J2196984 . So what do you guys think?
