Call me crazy, but I'll show you myself if you're in LA. I decided to take the chance-had nothing to lose- I used 8 squares of 220 sandpaper on my little sander- I sanded it to the black. I started to realize that this damn material(skin) is very strong-it's like sanding a tire(not that I have), but my guess is it wouldn't do much had there been paint on it. The wing is much more durable anyway-I sanded every ounce of paint off-there were tiny lines on the rubber wing still. I guess those ugly cracks leave a scar all the way to hell)-I tried to sand that off-that material is damn durable- so sand away-USe 220, and start soft for your satifaction-then you'll get to know what you're doing, and you'll see the light. This is after hearing that YOU CAN NOT do this. Not true- the wing is now primed, and looking sweet...

When Paint flexable parts your need to add flex agent to the paint. Paint over time becomes brittle, Flex agent will help to prevent spider webbing and cracks.
