Mine is the same, I am going to get my insurance to pay hopefully, If i can convince them it's dangerous to drive.
Try going to Auto windscreens and maybe all you will loose is your glass exess (£50???) on your insurance
Make sure you don't loose your No claims.
I got a quote of £300 if i remember rightly but that was last year

Anyone got any idea of the cost of a replacement screen in UK,mines getting a bit pitted.
