owners are arguing with bmw that the limiter should have prevented them from doing so,dont know about the 2002 models,but I know that the first year e46 m3's had quiet a few engines that
blew up,alot of owners were trying to get new factory engine replacements instead of bmw just repairing the engines under warranty
