well if you have a 4pt harness..there should be four connecting points. Two are at teh rear floor mount area of the front seats for the lap belts, and the other two should be under the rear seats where there are/ or aren't mounting points. You need to mount your harnesses to the points at 45 degree angles. NOw if you have a roll bar or a roll cage, you wuold mount the harness differently, but I assume you don't. Also, the reason your harness may feel like it's too short is that you might have bought 48in top pieces that are used with roll cages and roll bars instead of the 78in ones.
