My 89 M3 has all the sudden started stalling. It will restart but will not run very long 20-30 sec. Then sometimes just quit other times it will develop bad
miss then diesel for a bit. When it does start it
seems to rev ok. I replace the fuel relays and
checked the fuel pump pressure all is good.
Any help appreicated.

I posted about a very common cause of this problem a few years back in, since I have seen this sympton caused by a bad solder joint on the transistor controlling the ignition coil. Look at my original post (link below) for instructions on checking for and repairing this problem. I repair DME's and have found many older DME's with this defect.
