of the intake gaskets. Im replacing them along with the M5 gaskets, but I dont know where to place sealant. Can someone help? Thanks

Mark, I have not done that job yet with the S14 engine, however with engines I have worked on in the past, I have been reluctant to use sealant on any surface associated with the intake side of things. You run the risk of that stuff squeezing into the intake passages and disturbing the airflow. The engines did not come with sealant on those gaskets from the manufacturer and should not need it now unless the surfaces are distorted or damaged in some way that would require it.

Again, I cannot say for sure, and hopefully somebody else will chime to help here, but I would guess that you should not need it.

About the only place I think you need to use sealant is on the water pump.
