Does anyone have e34 M5 forged rims (these are with the turbine wheel covers) on their e30 M3? What is the maximum tire size that can be used? Currently the tires are 235x45x17. Would these be too big?

In all likelihood yes... On an e30 M3 you should stick with a 235/40/17 on those wheels, or you could go a little narrower.

If you're the DaveC with the cabrio, you might want to go narrower as you may not be able to stuff them under your arches.

A friend of mine in NY runs these wheels with 235/40/17 on his e30 M3.

Kev
