idle speed for e30 m3 (archive)

I am new to the e30 m3 world, and I feel my idle is a little too high. I idle when cold and warm at 1k flat. I think that is a little high. Can someone tell me what m3's are supposed to idle at. Thanks.

The hp increasing mods I have are:

Dinan chip
evo intake
b&b exhaust
