Rich, the easiest way is not to remove the bell housing but to install it using a few tricks. Be sure the input shaft splines are lubricated with a good lubricant that won't just burn away.(Wurth CU 1100 is best) Install the clutch, throwout bearing and the clutch slave, this will hold the whole thing togethor. Align the parts so that the input shaft will go all the way in without binding. You did remember to get the clutch tool perfectly centered first so this should be like, well, stabbin the ole lady, you almost never miss and you go in all the way. The best way to get the tranny that last little bit is to have a friend disengage the clutch while you wiggle it in that last bit.
