Valvoline Racing is top stuff, I run Mobil 1 but if I were to change, I would go to Valvoline. If you run Mobil 1, make sure you use the Motorsport 15w-50, not the 0w-30. Get the BMW filters from your local dealer, don't use cheapo filters.

Gday,
The job is no different than any other car very easy with good access. But get the CURRECT oil filter.
I use basic magnatex ( castrol ) A friend uses
valvaline racing 20-50 both with no problems.
The valvoline is used by one of the top historic race car preperation firms to run in engines on the dyno. things like the climax fpf gp engines, the very fast e types and all manner of other nice toys.
