It looks like the wrist pin is slapping on #1 piston. Time for a rebuild @ 147k. While I am not interested in building up the M too much, I would like to do what is reasonable. Aside from the JC chip, K&N filter and Evo Air Box, I guess an exhaust cam gear is about it. Naturally we will replace the chain and tensioner with E36. What else? Any suggestions? If anybody has a fresh or nearly fresh used S14....I am too busy to build an engine right now, and I do not want to leave the car sitting idle too long.

I will sell off much of my wristwatch collection to finance this. If you have any requests for collectible watches just ask away. Timex to Rolex and beyond.
