If you want to convert to r134a I can help you with this process and the parts required. If you are mechanically inclined you can do most or all of the work yourself, save allot of money and have a system that won't self destruct(like the 30.00 kits at the discount stores). I have tips/tricks that will make the r134 perform the best it can.
The basic of converting to r134 is to rebuild the compressor with newer seals designed for 134, install a new filter/dryer with new low pressure switch, purge the system to remove all old mineral oil and residue, use the correct oil made for 134, (PAG double end capped), evacuate the system, recharge with the correct amount of r134, reset the expansion valve for proper low pressure and you will have as good as an operating system as you can get for a long time. If you need help with parts, let me know as I will have the best prices you can find. Thanks for your interest, George Martz / Thermal Solutions.
