A small slide hammer is essential for the front wheel bearing/hub removal.

After you hammer off the old assembly, the old inner race will probably still be on the spindle and the samll jaw slide hammer can get that off easily too.

Buy the E24 5 series bearing assembly and swap ABS rings from the M3 bearing to the new hub.

Use 3 of the lug bolts to attach the hub to the wheel. Stand on the tire and use the slide hammer to remove the ABS ring.. It's easy!

Then install the proper ABS ring on the new hub w/ a hammer and brass punch or dowel.

Should take about 1 hour to completely do this job.

Eric
