Don't worry about installing charged batteries onto the board. I charged mine and then installed them myself at home. I haven't had any problems.

Just be careful if you plan to solder the batteries to the special contacts. The place where I took the board to to remove the original batteries told me that the heat from a soldering iron might damage the batteries. In the end, I just used an elastic to press the special contacts onto the batteries.

Should I fully charge the new battery before putting them into the SI board? i am affraid I might short the board.
