...than just falling off? My M3 had its original cap until it had 140K miles. I just changed it to renew the seal...a new cap is pretty tight. A lot of M3`s are on the track with an OE cap...I don`t see any problem with it.

Either online or otherwise. I was driving to school today, about a 30 mile trip and my oil cap disappeared. No clue where it ended up. I'm a bit worried part of it may have ended up in the motor. But besides that, I was wondering if anybody knows of a place where I can buy an oil cap that is metal, since I don't want to have this happen again. Thanks, Chase.
