Some subframes already have a factory "guesset?" reinforcement on the bottom side. It prevents you from welding on the triangle pieces that come with the kit to that side of the frame, but it seems like a beefy enough modification that should hold. You will still be able to weld on the top portion regardless. See pic below:
Luckily, I didn't have any cracks or signs of stress but I do sleep better at night knowing the car has all of its weak points reinforced.

If you're doing a rear swaybar anytime soon, do yourself a favor and get the Ireland Engineering kit. It is %1000 easier to install then the Turner kit and it is less expensive boot.

Don't even think about attaching a beefier bar without reinforcing this point - it is very flimsy and will tear out in no time.
