CO adjustment is an adjustment done at the AFM. It basically fine tunes the amount of air allowed into the engine at idle. The CO gauge measures the exhaust gases to determine a lean/rich level. Adjust the set screw at the AFM to get the level just right

this is my understanding of it anyway, Chris
