I don't like smoked-out lights myself, however I don't like the yellow USA spec turn signals either. hmm, dilema. What I did was use the lens spray paint you see used on the hondas etc to paint the yellow turn signal part red, then went a few times over the red area just to blend it in, used a few coats as the paint shop was gonna clear coat them with automotive clear and they were going to sand them down to do it all pro-like. for $50 bucks for the clear spray, and 10 bucks for the red tail light paint I had myself some nice looking rear lenses, kinda the euro look, I dig it, and it's probably one of the only M3's in Southern California with this easy mod, looks great on the cinnibar cars, especially with the clear lenses up front.

If you really want to smoke your own, I beleive i've seen the similar spray paint sold in your average honda hopper-upper shops, or maybe Nopi.com they got all kinds of gadgets like that, remember the have them automotive clear coated, or else it will fade and look like crap, that's the key.

I was wondering why people smoke their lights. I'm not sure they look better. Can anyone enlighten me? I know a favourite phrase of regular contributors here is "each to their own", but I'm I'm struggling with this one.
Awaiting the flames of hell and damnation...

I saw somebody's remedy for smoking your own tail (lights). I couldn't find it in the archives, any suggestions?
