your base CO setting and then controlled partially by the O2 sensor inputs to the DME. If base CO is so far out, then the O2 sensor cannot fully correct A/F ratio because the range in which it corrects is limited to a certain total range.

I would not trust one of those onboard A/F ratio meters especially if you spliced it into the existing O2 sensor wiring harness.GEt it off the car and get new wiring for the O2 sensor and install it properly.

You really need to get on a dyno w/ a 4 gas analyzer hooked up to really get accurate CO, HC, CO2 & NO readings and determine what exactly is going on. Any other way is just speculation.

Do you have a chip designed for the 2.5 bottom w/ relatively stock induction system?

Turner sells one w/ the 2.5 bottom kit that I also run and find that my car runs awesome because CO is properly adjusted along w/ t-bodies synched and base idle properly set.

If you have not had this basic tune up procedure done then you are not going about this the right way.

Start w/ basic tune up as described and correct any of the wiring I described and go from there.

Once that is all corrected then add that $600 cam and she will be a real nasty pullin' car!

Eric
