Starting the car, and shutting it off will most likely cause the car to be flooded. The best way to fix the problem is to disable the fuel pump, crank the car a few times (to get all the gas out of the cylinders), then take the plugs out, clean them and dry them. They will not dry in the cylinders. Then the car should start.

I just got my car painted at a bodyshop and when I was going to pick-up the car, it would only crank but not start.
There is gas.
I've heard that when the M3's are started on/off many times and have only moved in short distances, it causes build-up in the plug which causes the car not to start.
Has anyone had this problem? Is this a fact? They said clean the plugs and it will start again.
