Nick..
If you're military (like me), you'll still have to go with a registered importer. Most of the time the Personal Property Shipment office on base will have all that information necessary for your shipment. I was stationed in Japan and wanted to bring a euro spec 535i or a 520i and if it didn't have the "U.S. Version" decal on the door jamb, it would require paperwork from a registered importer before they even processed the car. I managed to get a U.S. E30 cabrio that I currently have..

I plan on getting to Germany next year and hopefully taking an E30 M3. Get it loaded with Euro goddies and then bringing it back here FREE cause it's got a "U.S. Version" in the door jamb.
Good luck..

Who can help me out??????

I need to bring my ///M to the US with me (OHIO).
since i dont have to worry about customs or taxes,
running german plates and specs for up to a year,
i just need to know
what company can get it over there, and
to what price?
How long will it take?
I will be leaving pretty soon, so my ///M
will have to get on whatever means of transportation like NOW! so i will not have to be without it too long! :-)

I will be extremely grateful to anybody that can give me info and help me, so that I can be crusing with fellow ///M enthusiasts pretty soon! :-)

greetings from ///Munich,
the city where we define performance....
