Hi everybody, I need a lot of help !
Here is a brief list of my troubles :
1. Check Engine light came on a few days ago. Also has
a rough idle sometimes, but NOT ALWAYS ! There is
some noise coming from under the car (catalic
converter ???)
2. The remote control won't work (can not be
programmed so doesn't do anything)
I can alarm and disarm the car with the key only.
3. None of the front windows works and neither the
driver side rear. Strange but the passenger side
rear works just fine.
4. I'm missing a lower part of the bumper and the
spoiler . Anybody has a used one ? Or maybe a CSI
front bumper ? (does anybody makes an aftermarket
bumber for the E31 ?)
5. Finally at last but least : The key stuck in
the ignition and has to play with it for a few
minutes to get it out. I used WD40 but didn't help
I can turn on and off the engine but can not pull
the key out. I managed to pull out a few times but
took me 35 minutes for the first time, and 5 for
the second time. Anybody had anything like that ?
Comment : The car is new to me, was purchased only 3
days ago from an insurance company - AS IS. I'd like to fix most of the problems becuse I had a bad luck with my d(s)tealers, especially if it comes to electronics. Any help is greatly appriciated !
