If you want BMW's all-time greatest sport touring coupe, then buy an 850CSi (and plan on seeing another one when you arrange to meet another owner - if you can locate one in your area since there's only about 200 or so in the USA. There's absolutely nothing wrong with a M3, it's just not in the same league as the 8 series, CSi or not.
