First, it is not a CSI. They were made in 94/95 and would cost something north of $50K.
I am also looking at a 91 850i automatic with 49K miles. We seem to have settled on a price of 25K if I take the car. It is in pristine condition and he has the full history on it.
Don't look at KBB when pricing any BMW. They are notorious for being inflated. I looked in the NADA book which can be found at most banks or credit unions and the car I am looking at seems to be worth about $27K.
I am sure I could find a cheaper 850 but I do like the fact that the guy does have all the history. Most of the cars I have looked at at dealers have very little history available. I would appreciate comments from anyone as to what they think about my deal based upon the information I have provided. Thanks!
