Sir, my point is that at the very least Paul responded to a request for information based on the facts that were available to him being a E31 owner. I wonder if you would have done the same? Perhaps you were just looking around when you saw an error... without any intention of responsing to the initial post for information.

When you commented: You are the E31 maling list moderator and you made these mistakes? Wow. Please review your facts.

That is taken as a negative.

We all make mistakes (not that his post was 100% inaccurate). A simple "Paul, good post but you you may want to also add....etc." would have been more appropriate.

I don't mean to offend you in any way by responding to your post. Just remember that it is you, sir that is the outsider and not a member of the email list. Yes, if Paul (or me, or any E31 member) posts incorrect information here or via email it is corrected without the arrogence of a know-it-all. That would be childish. Much like this small debate is. It's no wonder very few people (other than non-E31 owners) post here anymore and are now members of the email list.

You have know idea how much time and effort this man has put towards the 'free" email forum. So, yes more than a few feathers will get ruffled when you make such a comment about someone you know nothing about.

Your opinion on this matter would have been appreciated had it been of a positive tone.

On that note, have a wonderful holiday!

Best regards,

Sean
