: It recalibrates the throttle percentage, kickdown point, shift points, does in fact run in fourth gear. Like (M)anual mode, it also raises the hydraulic pressure of the torque converter for more affirmative (but less confortable) shifts.

That would be nice for it to run in 4th gear in the sport mode on the US models... sometimes I find 3rd to be too low. However when approaching the limit in 3rd it will shift into 4th. Around 120 or so.
