I think that your friends might have been bullshitting you about the car at the drag strip. The CL600, which I don't think is available yet in the states has only 370hp. There is no way that with its weight and horsepower and torque could it have pulled a 12.9 @113mph. The past SL600 with 389hp and a little more weight did the quarter in 14.1 @101mph. Those numbers you spoke of are 550 Maranello and Porsche TT territory
