: ... I agree, they are nice cars. I am also thinking about leaving the E31 camp... somehow, I don't think I fit the "typical owner" profile. Hopefully my negotiations over the next car will come through.

: Quick question... why the 500 and not the 600? A friend of mine worked for the local Merc. dealership... they took a 600 to a local dragway and pulled a 12.9 @ 113mph! Unbelievable; if it weren't for the time slips, I would have thought they were full of [stuff]. I was just wondering.
