: Anyone know where to buy the four-pot calipers and rotors on the 850csi? Also, are the Euro floating rotors available anywhere? Thanks in advance.

First, the US CSi did NOT come with four pot calipers. Only the Euro CSi had these. also, the Rotors are unique to Europe. All of the conversion parts can be had directly from BMW, about 1200 list each for calipers and 300 each for rotors. You should also consider new backing plates. These same calipers and rotors were available as an option on the Euro M5 from 1993-95. However, I have been told the US E31 brakes are an excellent upgrade for the 1988 M5.By the way the 1996 840i got a new four piston caliper. It is also interesting that the new E39 M5 uses a single piston caliper???
