Before owning two 850's and two M3's (E36) I can tell that now I only own my second 850.

: I found a terrible handlig characteristic on the E36, that BMW does not want to disclose, but when the E36 tail is gone, it is gone, and bad. I know at least 6 people that had E36's sideways and gone some had pretty bad accidents.

: I find the 850 after 10 years of its release, modern, well behaved car. I also liked the M3 but it is not a keeper like the 850.
