: Well, I've had my '91 850 (6spd) back for a couple weeks since having it chipped and the Dinan intake manifolds installed while the gaskets were being replaced. The power increase is very nice, nothing jaw dropping, but definitly noticeable. Anyway, since the installation of the Dinan stuff, my car has stalled a few times on startup. Right after I turn the ignition, the car will rev to just over a 1000rpm and rather than settling in at the normal idle point, rpm dros fast right to 0. Any ideas or experience with this problem?
: On a side note, has anyone attempted using E36 wheels with spacers on their E31's? I'm interested in IFG's wheels and they said I could use the wheels despite the E36 offset with 15mm spacers. However, with an offset of ET41 (40?) the math doesn't seem to add up to stock specs.

Hey Andrew
I had Jim C. reprogram my ECU chips as well and now when I start the car (cold) it goes to 1000 RPM and stalls and drops to 0. I then have to restart the car. If I apply a little gas during and directly after start-up it's fine. Didn't do it with the stock chips though.
I have stock manifolds etc.
