A good shop can install an aftermarket alarm ECU controller into your factory alarm harness. Of course, you have to find a shop with an installer that can build you an interface wiring harness. I have never seen it done with anything other than an E36 M3. The guy who did this worked at a shop called The Aftermarket in Alston, MA. That installer has left since then, but the current staff might still be able to pull off such high-priced tricks.
