I agree with you on all your points, but why does BMW sell option wheels for their cars which are much heavier than stock. I still think that if you were getting a wobble, there was something wrong with your wheel, not the car. A 10lb difference per wheel, won't make that much of a difference. I have a friend who owns a large wheel shop and they got a wobble when they put a 20" Niche Bahn chrome wheel and tire on a Mercedes and found out that it tripled the stock weight. That would create a wobble, but I am not sure a 10-15lb difference would. I don't doubt you that a forged wheel is far better than a gravity-cast wheel, but I think OZ still makes great wheels, outfitting some of the top makes with them. Ferrari, Lamborghini, many Euro tuners, including Schnitzer which runs BMWs race campaign.
