Other potential things to try:
I had/have a similar problem with my '92 850 automatic. The problem was the pulse generator sensor. We replaced the sensor for bank 7-12 which cured my 6 cyl. starting problem; and now I have a different problem (see Trans/Elec Problem Post below) but we seem to have narrowed it down to the same sensor for bank 1-6. One problem is that a bad injection circuit can cause fuel back pressure to build and blow out a fuel pump (which is what happened to me) so you may want to check fuel feed. I understand that ignition/injection problems can sometimes cause other failure codes in the EML. Hope this helps.
: WHen I start my car in cold weather the EML light remains lit and the car runs appears to run on 6 cylinders) with no power. If I warm the car up by driving it aroung the block and restarting, the light goes out and the car has power. I have a 1991, 6-spd. Anyone experience the same problem? Any suggestions?
