: Just wanted some opinions (no opinions here, right?) on what might be the cause of a vibration in the engine from about 1500 to 1750 rpm. It is smooth before and after that and I have adjusted my shifts (manual) to avoid that range. I am leaning towards engine mounts or harmonic balancer (ouch! big bucks). Let me know what you think. The vibration is not in the tranny since it happens in any gear at those rpm's
:Do you get the vibration if you start the car in park, then rev it ( check this when you first start the car - the tranny doesn't like being put into park/neutral, then revd after driving )?

If not, I'd lean towards Tranny mounts or driveshaft ( which is usually also speed related ). Also, you're definitely at the mileage to replace the above.
