Slow board & Northeast/Midatlantic snow... (archive)

Since the posts are short and far between, I'll take this time to say I love snow... I started out to work with (with the Eclipse, FWD) early enough that the plows wouldn't be out and there wouldn't be anyone on the road.

I have never been part of an official off-road rally, but I like to think that someday I will. After helping my neighbors kid brush off their car adn a quick chat about school cancellations, I headed out. I have a downhill S curve (not the Corkscrew I posted about earlier, this one is longer) just outside my neighborhood. Anyway... 2 40~50ft drifted turns and giant grin later, I am finally at work.

How was everyone else's commute?

I've got my 8 locked down under cover. I promise you guys that I will excecise discipline in keeping the 8 where it is until the snow passes, but it is tempting. I wish my motorcycle was functional... ;-)

That should fill my quota for posting "dumb (but fun) things I do, and am not too abashed to share them" for this week.
