If I had known the part was covered under the warranty (although I had an extended warranty and not the factory warranty at the time of purchase) I would have had them fixed at that time. However, now the warranty is expired and both wheels have gone south. I intend to have metal wheels fabricated to the right diameter to where they will fit on the spindle tightly and shouldn't ever need to be replaced, epoxied, etc. My problem is the BMW franchise here in OKC is VERY iffy to say the least and I seem to have more expertise in the car than the techs or parts people. Tulsa was much better, but is a 4 hour round trip!

: There is actually an old technical service bulletin on this problem, and the solution was NOT to replace the headlight assembly, but to epoxy the adjustment wheel back to the spindle. For cars under factory warranty, the bulletin even specified the allowed labor time to correct the problem.
