I would agree with the statement if it said that the CSI did not have a useful rear seat. However, they do have rear seats.
I think that the confusion may be caused by the fold down rear seat which started with the 93CIs and of course was included on the CSIs. Many drivers keep the rear seat down and looking back there, it doesn't look like there is a seat. However, there is one!
